Viareggio is a city in northern Tuscany in Italy on the coast of the Thyrrenian Sea. With over 63.00 people it is the main centre of the Tuscan Riviera known as Versilia. Viareggio is famous for the "Passeggiata" a promenade more than 2km long, the longest most beautiful beaches on the north italian coast and for the oldest Carneval in Europe, the "Carnevale di Viareggio".
Cities like Pisa, Lucca and Florence can be reached in less than one hour.
